A Letter to Kady
Dear Kady,
How are you? I miss you and my friends at school. This summer holiday, I go to Hawaii. The most wonderful thing about Hawaii is the temperature of the water and air. For exam, the temperature of the water at the famous resort Waikiki is only 23 degrees. And there is only two or three degree difference between the hottest day in summer and the coldest day in winter. That’s why the Hawaiians don’t have a word for weather in their language. Perhaps the best thing about Hawaii knew how much fun it was to ride waves. They developed bodysurfing—a sport, which is now very popular on the island. You go out into the ocean, wait for big
waves to come towards you, jump on it, and ride it all the way to the beach. I really enjoy myself there. Hope to see you when the new term begins.
Kady,
